Depart Casablanca for an approximate 4 hour drive across the Chaouia and Ben Guerir plains to the huge, palm-surrounded oasis that harbors Marrakech. Along the way, your guide will tell you about the history and culture of this captivating city as you pass villages and small towns and miles of rural land. After a refreshment stop on the way, the city of Marrakech unfolds, nestled at the foot of Morocco's mighty Atlas Mountains. You'll travel along boulevards lined with orange and jacaranda trees. Enjoy lunch at a typical Moroccan restaurant in the ancient Medina, surrounded by breathtaking architecture and entertainment including Andalusian music and belly dancing.
After lunch, discover Marrakech and see new and exciting places such as the Menara basin, the 12th-century minaret of Koutoubia, the tallest and most famous landmark in Marrakech, and the Saadian tombs, where the Royal family of the Saadian dynasty is buried. The beautiful Necropolis contains 66 indoor tombs with interiors intricately decorated with mosaics. Visit the 19th century Bahia Palace, a great exponent of Moroccan architecture, with its tranquil lush gardens and magnificent decorations. Walk through the ancient Medina with its colorful souks where you'll have some time for optional shopping. Visit the famous Jamaa el Fna square, where fortune-tellers, magicians, fire eaters and monkey leaders mingle with acrobats, snake charmers and singers. Undoubtedly, this is the most exuberant marketplace in the world!

Your day starts with an approximate 1 1/2 hour drive to Rabat, the diplomatic capital of Morocco. Discover Rabat's rich history and see its major treasures. Admire the majestic exterior of the Royal Palace built in 1864. Explore the archaeological site of Chellah, an ancient Phoenician city. Excavations uncovered the remains of "Decumanus Maximus" its principal way, a forum, monumental fountain, triumphal arch and other important ruins. Visit the Mohamed V Mausoleum, where the father of Moroccan independence is buried. You'll also see Hassan Tower, one of the prestigious architectural heritages of the Almohad dynasty.
After lunch at a typical Moroccan restaurant, continue on foot to the ancient medina with its colorful souks to the Kasbah of Oudaya. This is a quiet and picturesque spot with white and blue houses in the middle of bustling Rabat. Visit the beautiful Andalusian Gardens located on the site of the old palace grounds and enjoy a soft drink at the Moorish cafe on the banks of the Bou Regreg River. Back in Casablanca, you'll have an orientation tour of the city including a photo stop at the Hassan II Mosque. Time permitting, you'll have some time for shopping.

A visit to Fez will transport you back to ancient times as you walk through the narrow alleyways of this mystical city; the soul of Morocco. This journey will be well worth the long, over three hour drive. A brief orientation drive through Rabat on your way to Fez will acquaint you with the capital city. Once in Fez, you'll visit the Dar Batha Museum, displaying a rich collection of hand crafted pottery that traces Morocco's cultural history, in addition to other important collections. The most beautiful of all Moroccan ceramic objects were made by Fez craftsmen.
You'll have a great photo opportunity in front of the Royal Palace, a great example of Arab-Islamic architecture. See the Al Quaraouiyine University, the first university in Morocco, and the second in the Arab and Islamic world. Near the main gate of the city is the former Jewish quarter. During your walk through the Babr'ssif section, stop at a wool dyeing factory. You'll also stop at a tannery where they process leather for slippers, jackets, wallets and other leather goods. Visit the beautiful Attarine School, founded in the 14th century. The carved stucco and glazed tile revetment evoke the Nasrid palace of the Alhambra in Spain. Another great photo opportunity is the 14th-century fountain in the Nejjarine area. You'll enjoy lunch at a typical Moroccan restaurant.
Посоветуйте пожалуйста, какую из трех экскурсий выбрать?
С учетом следующих моментов:
- Только эти корабельные экскурсии, так как все три - дальние, и в случае проблем за опоздание на корабль отвечает компания. Рисковать под свою ответственность я не хочу.
- 8 часов езды для меня не проблема, если оно того стоит.
- Прошу исходить из того, что больше никогда я в Марокко не приеду. То есть ответ "смотрите что ближе, а за остальным потом приедете" - не катит. Никакого "потом" скорей всего не будет, поэтому надо выбрать лучшее из возможного.
