5 DAYS L.MANYARA/SERENGETI/NGORONGORO
Day 1:Date 1/12/2013-Arusha/L.Manyara
After breakfast pick up from your hotel and Proceed to Lake Manyara National Park afternoon game drive. Tucked below the majesty of the
Rift Valley wall, the park is a thin green band of forest flanked one side by the sheer 600metres high red and brown cliffs of the escarpment and on the other by the white-hot shores of an ancient soda lake Acacia woodland shelters the park's famous tree climbing lion, lying among the branches in the heat of the day. Dinner and overnight at Twiga camp or L.Manyara wildlife lodge.
Day 2;Date 2/12/2013-Lake Manyara/Serengeti
After breakfast with picnic lunch depart to Serengeti with an optional stop at Olduvai Gorge. Proceed to Serengeti for an afternoon game drive,which is renowned for its wealth of leopard and lion. Its Tanzania's first and most famous park, and one of the most world's last great wildlife refuges. The term serengeti means endless plains. Dinner and overnight at Seronera Wildlife camp or Seronera wildlife lodge.
Day 3:Date 3/12/2013-Serengeti Full day
After breakfast with picnic lunch proceed for game viewing in Serengeti. Every year more than a million wildbeest,200,000 Zebras and 300,000 Thomson's gazelle gather to undertake their long trek to new grazing lands,followed by predators lion,leopard,cheetah,and hyenas. During their trek more than 8,000 calves are produced a day,and thousands are killed by predators. Return to the camp or the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 4;Date 4/12/2013-Serengeti/Ngorongoro
After breakfast with picnic lunch Morning game drive, then leave Serengeti for Ngorongoro with an optional top at Olduvai Gorge,or walk on mountain forest with Ranger(to pay direct), a river canyon cut a 100 metres deep through the volcanic soil of the Serengeti plains. Burried in the layers are hominids and remains of animals that lived and died more than 2 million years ago. The guides will give you on site information of the gorge. Proceed to Ngorongoro for dinner and overnight at Shimbas camp or Rhino lodge.
Day 5:Date 05/12/2013-Ngorongoro Crater
After Breakfast with pincic lunch,depart for the Ngorongoro crater for a full day of tracking game in the crater floor. You will break for your picnic lunch at the Ngoitoktok springs picnic site. All the big five may be seen. This huge caldera or collapsed volcano is 250 square kilometres and 600metres deep. Its spectacular settings and abundance of wildlife makes it one of the natural great wonders of the world -is refered to as the eighth wonder of the world or the EDEN of Africa. Late afternoon drive back to Arusha drop off at your hotel.
