Terms of Reference/ job description.
Job Description:
Oversee and manage OB-GYN medical services and act in the capacity of an OB-GYN. In doing so, the physician is expected to use his/her medical knowledge and skill in this field of to examine, Diagnose, and treat patients including performance or appropriate surgical procedures at in-patient and outpatient clinics. Diagnose and treat pregnant women at the patient clinic. Provide training to appropriate support
staff at maternity Unit. Make recommendations to the Hospital Administrator in improving OB-GYN medical services. Conduct continuing education class to medical staff, and other health care
providers. Carry out other duties as assigned by the Chief of Staff such as coverage of on call duties at the emergency room, participation in medical staff committees. ON call duties at Emergency room.
Qualification requirements: Graduate from a recognized medical institution plus 2-5 years as an OB-GYN
Contract Duration: 2 year, with extension upon agreement of both parties
Eligibility: all nationalities
Salary and Benefits: PL -14/1 - PL 14-3 (U.S.$33,000 - $35,000 per annum)
Benefits: Housing is included, transportation to Majuro and from Majuro and back to point of recruitment is included.

Assist/co-manage patients as deemed appropriate with other members of the Medical Staff. Oversee and supervise training of support staff. Make recommendations to Hospital Administrator/Chief of Staff in improving ENT services. Carry out other duties as assigned by the chief of staff such as participation in medical staff committees. On call emergency duties.
