Кстати, забавный факт - в условиях перевозки, опубликованных на сайте, вообще нет такого требования. Вот выдержка, с перечислением причин, по которым могут не посадить на рейс:
Article-11 Refusal and Limitation on Carriage
11.1 Right to Refuse Carriage
Spring Airlines may refuse carriage of any Passenger or Passenger's Baggage for reasons of safety or if, in the exercise of its reasonable discretion, Spring Airlines determines that:
11.1.1 Such action is necessary to comply with any applicable laws, regulations or orders of any state or country to be flown from, into or over; or
11.1.2 The conduct, age or mental or physical state of the Passenger is unfit for air transportation and is such as to cause discomfort or make himself or herself objectionable to other Passenger or pose hazard or risk to himself or to other persons or to property; or
11.1.3 Such action is necessary because the Passenger has failed to observe the instructions of Spring Airlines; or
11.1.4 The Passenger has refused to submit to a security check; or
11.1.5 The applicable fare or any charges or taxed payable have not been paid; or
11.1.6 The Ticket presented by the Passenger has been acquired unlawfully or has been purchased from an entity other than the issuing Carrier or its Authorized Agent or has been reported as being lost or stolen or such Ticket is a counterfeit Ticket
11.1.7 Passenger have failed to comply with the requirements set forth in Article 3.3, or Passenger present a Ticket which has been issued or altered in any way, other than by Spring Airlines or its Authorized Agent, or the Ticket is mutilated;
11.1.8 The person presenting the Ticket cannot prove that he is the person named in the 'Name of Passenger' box.
11.1.9 The Passenger does not appear to be properly documented.
11.1.10 The Passenger may seek to enter a country through which he is in transit or the Passenger may destroy his documentation during flight or the Passenger will not surrender travel documents to be held by the flight crew in compliance with Spring Airlines requirement; or
11.1.11 The Passenger does not comply with the instructions of safety or security.
11.1.12 The Passenger does not comply with the regulation of no smoking or the use of electronic devices on board.
11.2 Special Service
11.2.1 Special Passengers including VIP, unaccompanied children, aged person, pregnant woman, infant, sight or hearing impaired passenger, criminal or suspects, confidential secretary, diplomatic courier, passenger need extra seat for himself or for his Baggage, secret passenger, stretcher person, disabled and sick, repatriated and other passenger who need special assistance is subject to prior approval and arrangement with Spring Airlines.
11.2.2 Carriage of Children
Children less than 5 years old shall travel with an adult companion Passenger who shall be at least 18 years old and without any physical or mental disability. For children aged between 5 and 12 years old, he may travel unaccompanied with prior approval of Spring Airlines, and Ticket fare and service fee shall be calculated accordingly. Regulation concerning the carriage of accompanied children can be obtained from Spring Airlines.
11.3 Refund after the Refusal on Carriage
11.3.1 Passenger being denied boarding or canceled seats for reasons stated in Article 11.1.1 may seek refund in accordance with Article 8.2.
11.3.2 Passenger being denied boarding or canceled seats for reasons stated in Article 11.1.2 to Article 11.1.12 may seek refund in accordance with Article 8.3.
