Hello dear Igor,
Basically, the Yemeni Government has increased the fuel prices just 4
day ago and all the citizens in some major cities such as Sana'a and
Taiz were shocked by that decision because their life will be affected
in term of life daily expenses where all the items will be more
expensive than before such as food, transportation, accommodations and
other facilities.
Moreover, the only thing will be changed in your tour's price will be
the car fees since the fuel prices have increased up to 60% and all the
transportation services will be different than before.
I was planning to inform you in the previous 2 days but i was waiting
for the government price policy to be published publicly , then i will
inform all my guests and clients about the tours prices changes.
Besides, your tour will not be affected in term of security and safety
factors as the protests will not take place for longer time just for few
days then everything will be ok. Now the protesters are trying to force
the government to increase the citizens'salaries in order to make them
able to accommodate with the fuel prices changes. Because they are
claiming that the increasing in the fuel prices will affect any thing in
Yemeni market and everything will be more expensive than before and the
only solution to adopt with that is by increasing the salaries as well
as creating a price policy for everything in the market such as food
items, transportation, accommodation and so on in order to guarantee
that their daily life will not ruin by the recent changes in the fuel
prices.
