Эфиопия ( пустыня и вулкан Эрта-Але ) в начале января.

Приглашается один человек ( желательно мужского пола ) на поездку с 6 января на север Эфиопии в пустыню и на вулкан - программа ниже со всеми подробностями. Лететь значит надо 3 или 4 января - обратно кто когда захочет, и потом ещё можно сделать продолжение по северу или в долину Омо
Поездку организует эфиопская турконтора, уже собрана интеркоманда из 11 человек на три джипа ( нас тоже уже набралось четверо русских на одну машину ), нужен 12-й в джип с иностранцами. Стоит это дело около 1 200 долларов на чела + перелет Турками 20 тыщ рублей с копейками, и прочее... что не входит в программу. Эфиопы просят предоплату 25 % на следущей неделе - так что раздумывать особо некогда. С предоплатой будет всё в порядке - контора солидная и проверенная. И самое главное что это трудная и тяжелая поездка в самое жаркое место в Африке с ночевками на природе - так что будет "весело" Да, джипы обещают новые с кондиционерами и большой запас воды и пищи, и охрану на всю поездку.

Danakil depression is a sink in northern Ethiopia and southwestern Eritrea. It contains 25% of Africa’s active volcanoes and houses the continents’ lowest point, 120m below sea level. The seismic activity makes Danakil depression to a completely unique experience with mineral rock and lava lakes .Dallol, where the sulphur hill gaudy colors turns to dazzle the eyes of all who visit the salt mine and sulphur lake as violent gas shoot out in all sorts of colors and directions, and the mountain known as the red mountain. The other unique one is that contains all the previous and the active volcanoes of Erta Ale, which housed a permanent lava lake since 1967.
Cost effective
Many travelers complain with the huge amount of money that is requesting by many tour operators to visit this region. Of course,traveling to Danakil depression is not cheap due to many reasons. However, we have prepared scheduled trips to Danakil depression at unbelievable price and high-end services. Despite of the reasonable tour cost, we offer this service to a minimum of eight persons or above. It is therefore best to make a thorough attempt and dedicated search for people to share cost with others.
Season
The tour to Danakil depression is scheduled from the month of November to February every year, as this is relatively the coolest time in the year. Daytime temperature during these months is usually around 35 deg. Centigrade but not worse to endure.
Preparation & services
We believe that safety should be the main responsibility whilst in Danakil. So that we establish a 24-hour satellite, phone communication with the police, military, regional & federal bodies in case of security threats, health problems…etc.
All our vehicles are 4x4 Toyota Land Cruiser equipped with A/C and recovery gears fit for the desert. Excellent preparation ,highly competent professional and friendly staff, close interactions with local people , delicious food prepared by our dedicated cook will more than compensate for the hardness and sometimes spartanic character of living conditions we will find ourselves in.
Itinerary
Day 1. Arrival from your international flight.Meet and assist at the airport and transfer to your hotel.

Day 2. In the morning drive to logia through Yangudi Rassa national park. Lunch on the way and o/n in Logia.

Day 3. This morning after breakfast, we drive to Lake Afrera, in the Danakil desert .here we will visit the salt lake and saline.

Day 4. Drive to Dodom village [base of Erta Ale]. Late in the afternoon ascend to Erta Ale Volcano [3hrs], accompanied by a camelcaravantocarryourequipments.

Day 5. We spend full day visiting Erta Ale’s Lava Lake and the caldera. .

Day 6. After the last sunrise in the spectacular Lava lake, we descend from mount Erta Ale using the camels again to the point of departure where the Jeeps are waiting. Continue driving to Dallol.

Day 7. To day we visit Lake Assale near the miners’ town of Ahmed Ela. We’ll watch the centuries –old ritual of salt cutting, the shaping of salt blocks and the endless caravans arriving loaded with the precious “white gold”.

Day 8. Drive to Mekelle along a 4x4 road through a river canyon and amazing rock formations.

Acc: 3 star hotel in Mekelle.

Day 9. After break fast, transfer to the Airport for our domestic flight to Addis Ababa. We will have a ½ day city tour of Addis and some shopping. Farewell dinner at one of National restaurants with traditional dances. Transfer to the Airport for your int’l flight.

Я остаюсь ещё на две недели, и еду примерно 15 или 16 января в долину Омо, и потом в Сомалиленд ( если получится )
Есть ли желающие на речку Омо, и после можно заскочить в Сомалиленд или на север.
Пока точного плана нету, и возможны различные варианты.

Я как раз тот пятый человек, и мне после пустыни хотелось бы пользуясь случаем съездить и на юг. Но в отличии от unix смогу задержаться максимум на неделю. Я начала подискивать варианты организованных туров, потому что без гида соваться в племена и страшновато, и может быть не очень эффективно в плане познаний.
Пока есть одно предложение, но оно расчитывалось на группу из 2 человек. Цена вопроса на 6 дней - 986 дол. с человека.

During this tour; it would be facile to portray South Omo as some kind of living Museum. Four of Africa's major linguistic groups are represented in the region, including the Omotic-speakers. All in all, depending on where one draws the lines, as many as two dozen different tribes occupy South Omo, some numbering tens of thousands, others no more than 500, each one of them culturally unique. In addition, you cross the part of the Great Rift Valley which is endowed with the abundant wildlife. This is the itinerary for adventure lovers as you will drive through the off-roads and staying in bushes.

Camping in the remote part of the world (Omo Valley) is a life time memorable experience wondering the spectacular natural beautify.



Day 1: Arbaminch
After breakfast continue driving to the famous lakes side town of Arbamich. En route visit the villages of Gurage and Wolayta people. Overnight Bekele Molla Hotel - which is situated on the hill top facing towards the two lakes and the national park

Day 2: Jinka
After breakfast drive to Konso where colorfully costumed dress, impressive terracing of the land and unusually engraved wooden statues used as grave markers can be seen. Further along the route visit the Woito people live in the area around Woito River and Tsemay village. Continue driving to Jinka for overnight local hotel or camping

Day 3: Drive into Mago National Park. On this day drive further to Mursi villages. The Mursi are well known for the large clay discs that the women wear, inserted in their slit lower lips. Mursi men wear very little, although a cotton wrap is becoming more and more common. Late afternoon drive back to Turmi for overnight camping

Day 4: visit the Hammer market at Dimeka or Turmi (the market day for Hammer tribe is Monday at Turmi or Tuesday/Saturday at Dimeka. overnight camping.

Day 5: Drive to Arbaminch (about 300 kms). On the way we will have stops at Erbore and Konso tribes who are also a must to be seen. Overnight hotel

Day 6: Drive to Addis Ababa (500 km - asphalt road) through the Great Rift Valley lakes and scenic beauty. End of the tour!

спасибо за предложение,но думать я буду только в октябре,когда прилечу из Штатов.
Компания у меня в принципе есть,еще 3-4 человека,так что если поедем,то будет весело
но есть разные мысли.....
на выходных встречалась со своими алжирскими попутчиками в Москве, появилась еще идея-Судан.....
так что будем думать-понимать осенью,когда все опять соберемся в России.

я бы наверно рассматривал, если б ты чуть раньше об этом рассказала.... мы только позавчера взяли билеты туда 5 и обратно 31января, и вроде как путь уже протоптан, так как предоплата трипа на вулкан тоже сделана. Правда с 16 по 30 января я совершенно свободен, и надумал ехать в долину Омо и так далее... так что могу поехать и в Судан в эти даты, если оно конечно получится
и там вроде заморочки с получением Суданской визы

с Суданом пока я не совсем поняла что смотреть))))меня интересует пустыня+оазисы.....а на негров смотреть 2 недели,без красот....как то скучно....

Судан не очень удобная связка, их виза легко делается только в Каире, а в Эфиопии визу вряд ли получите вообще, в Москве тоже гемор, но можно. Проще Сомалилэнд - виза в Аддисе в день обращения (по крайней мере для бритосов, но говорят они всем так легко дают - типа туризм развивают).

В долине Омо я пока не был, но точно знаю что две недели там конечно делать нечего, и можно заехать и в Судан, если там вообще возможно заехать с этой стороны. Да можно заехать с любой стороны. только я пока один, и на два джипа меня не хватит , а Meine Ruhe решила сачкануть, и возвращается домой 15 января.
А если даже не получится поехать в январе, то я запросто могу похать и в феврале.
