Авис не только слупил за повреждения, но и добавил location surcharge за аэропорт. Нахожусь в переписке с ними и British Airways (через них бронировал), уверяют, что мол так и надо. В жопа я эту сумму уже в клейм не включил, но я так понимаю, что ее бы и не получил, из документов ависа никак не вытекает какая-то связь между поверждениями и аэропортом, это мне на словах сказали при сдаче машины, спорить было некогда, улетал. Теперь эту же песню завел BA со ссылкой на Авис.
Пишут следующее:
I contacted Avis and they have come back to me and advised that the charges that have been applied is for damage to the car, which is taxable. Unfortunately, any additional items not included in your pre-paid voucher will be subject to local taxes and surcharges. Those taxes and surcharges included in the pre-paid package are only applicable to the items included in the pre-paid package. The location surcharge is levied by the owner of the location (airports and train stations, for example) in which the car hire company rents premises, and this is passed on to renters. Avis is not alone in this: most of the larger car hire companies, such as Hertz and Alamo, operate similarly.
The damage charges for your vehicle was 290 EUR + 65 EUR administration fee + Tax + Surcharge. Attached are the relevant documentation for the damage.
