1. Passengers must have:
- a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken at most 72 hours before arrival. The test certificate must be in English or accompanied by a certified English translation; or
- a negative COVID-19 rapid antigen test taken at most 24 hours before arrival. The test certificate must be in English or accompanied by a certified English translation; or
- a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they were fully vaccinated at least 14 days and at most 270 days before arrival. Vaccines accepted are AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), Covovax, Janssen, Moderna (Spikevax), Nuvaxovid (Novavax) and Pfizer-BioNTech; and
- Covaxin, Covishield, Sinopharm and Sinovac are accepted when AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), Janssen, Moderna (Spikevax) or Pfizer-BioNTech were the booster dose or when the passenger has a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken at most 72 hours before arrival; or
- a COVID-19 vaccination certificate that received a booster dose; or
- a COVID-19 recovery certificate issued at least 14 days and at most 180 days before arrival and a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test taken at most 72 hours before arrival.
- This does not apply to passengers younger than 6 years.
2. Passengers must complete a "Passenger Locator Form" found at
https://app.euplf.eu/#/ and present it upon arrival.
- This does not apply to merchant seamen with an approval from
portmedic@gov.mt3. Merchant seamen must have a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken at most 72 hours before departure. The test certificate must be in English or accompanied by a certified English translation
