На счет 2100, оно появилось совсем недавно.
Покрытие ооочень рваное.
Все операторы пока только ставят вышки 2100.
Так что я бы больше рассчитывал на 900, а это, как я уже выше написал AIS.
Инфа с сайта AIS
AIS 3G 2100, officially launched on May 7, 2013, is a new cellular network standard which will replace the existing GSM, used for more than 20 years. AIS will take 2 years to expand its 3G 2100 coverage to as many as the existing GSM coverage.
The 2100 MHz frequency is the bandwidth set to be 3G standard system compatible for various mobile phones and can be used for roaming service on the 3G network in all countries that adopt the same 3G network standard.
Subsidiaries of Advanced Info Service (AIS), Total Access Communication (DTAC), and True Corporation (Truemove) have won at auction, the 15 MHz of bandwidth each, on the 2100 MHz band. AIS is the only operator that has fully invested in expanding its network to provide real 3G 2100 network coverage. AIS has installed a large number of the 2100 MHz base stations to support the demand of the customers, using 2100 MHz bandwidth only. However, other mobile operators do not have as many 2100 MHz base stations as AIS has. Instead, to try to cut their costs, the other operators have just set up two carrier frequencies: 2100 MHz and the old 850 MHz bandwidth to be used interchangeably.
Enjoy high-speed, seamless data transmission
The amount of AIS 3G 2100 MHz base stations in urban areas is 2 times as dense as the amount of 3G 900 MHz base stations. Each AIS 3G 2100 MHz base station contains bandwidth 3 times as wide as 3G900 MHz base station. This increases AIS 3G 2100 bandwidth which can now support users who want high-speed data transmission. By the end of 2013, AIS 3G 2100 will cover all urban areas and main roads nationwide. By the end of year 2014, AIS 3G 2100 will cover as much area as the 2G system has covered, and your data transmission will no longer switch to the EDGE system and by the end of year 2013, AIS 3G 2100 will be able to seamlessly connect to AIS WiFi, allowing you to stay connected even if a switch of connection between 3G and WiFi occurs.
