Main Land - это 6ольшая земля, не остров, автор топика имел ввиду Мокоэ. Мокоэ - маленькая деревенька, от которой ходит public boat, лодку эту иногда по-русски называют паромом. На public boat от Мокоэ до Ламу плыть 20 минут максимум

Мокоэ находится в 215 км от Малинди, от Малинди до Момбасы еще 150 км

Информация точная. Я живу половину времени в Дияни, это Южное побережье от Момбасы, а половину времени на Ламу. Рулю между Дияни и Ламу 2-3 раза в месяц

Приехали на пристань Main land. Почти все пассажиры из автобуса пересаживаются в ботик, который уже ждет. Я даже предполагаю, что он принадлежит автобусной компании. На ботике плывем 37 мин., оплата 50 шилл.
На пристани острова Ламу меня с двумя парнями с Европы, с которыми мы случайно познакомились в автобусе, встретил гид. С гидом я списался с помощью форумчан AWD, за что им большое спасибо.

Уважаемая ASwan видимо Вы не прочитали это :
...покупаем мне билет на утро на автобус, который идет на остров Ламу,
...Утром в 7.30 прихожу туда, где покупал билет на автобус
...Садится со мной в матату, платит сам за проезд и через 2-3 остановки провожает меня в автобус.
Хотя конечно и я недостаточно подробно описал данный неинтересный участок маршрута.Извините пожалуйста если ввел Вас в заблуждение.
Jeita абсолютно права.От Момбасы до Мain-Land ехать около 5 часов.Билет стоит(л) 500 шилл.=7 долл.В дороге останавливались на 30 мин. в Малинди.

Посмотрите словарь или мой предыдущий пост. Мain land - по-английски материк, а Ламу - архипелаг, острова. Мой милый, когда ему кто-то не нравится, всегда рожу кривит, мол, что с него взять - он же from main land people

Мokowe - это где вы с авто6уса высадились. По карте сверьтесь, только смотрите карту кенийского по6ережья, на 6олее крупной не увидите. Слишком маленькая деревня, вы ее, кстати, немного раньше проезжали, от нее до причала 5 км

Потому «на Ламу и добираются через main land», в смысле «сухопутно» потому что вы на самолет не захотели, видимо, а регулярного морского сообщения Момбаса-Ламу НЕТ

На автобусных билетах пишут Mokowe

Вот последняя выкладка по ценам:

1. Найроби
- виза 50$
- отель 40$ (1/2 дабла)
- автобус в Арушу = 40$
2. Аруша (Танзания)
- виза 50$
- сафари на 6 дней/5 ночей в хорош. кемпинге = 1000$
- авиаперелёт на Занзибар = 145$
3. Занзибар
- виза 10$
- 5 ночей в отеле = 50$ х 5 = 250$ (1/2 дабла)
- экскурсии - примерно 80$ (1/2)
- авиаперелёт в Найроби = 185 $
4. Найроби
- ночь в отеле 40$ (1/2 дабла)
+ еда 8дней х 15$ = 120$ (не считая сафари)

итого: 2010$ / за одного (при 2-х человеках)
без учёта перелёта с/на Родину.

получается, что единственный путь - это самолёт за 175 $ в одну сторону ???!!!!! ...до о.Ламу. (дорогова то как-то... 350$ за перелёт)

Если честно, при бронировании через КЛМ Кенийских авиалиний Найроби-Ламу-Найроби система выдает 199 $ со всеми сборами. При бронировании через сайт кенийцев стоимость выдается около 20 000 к.ш.(~285 $). Вот думаю, в чем подвох? Уж слишком дешево получается, если бронировать-выкупать билетики на внутренний перелет здесь...Как бы меня на регистрации не развернули с такими билетами...

осмотр города, переговоры в тур. конторах.
день 2: переезд на джипе в Кибале (основная часть дня)
день 3: трек к гориллам и обратно в Кибале или озеро Буньони.
день 4: переезд на джипе в Кампалу
день 5: в 13.00 на Scandinavia Express едем через Найроби в Арушу.
день 6: в 07.00 утра в Аруше. Начало сафари.
день с 7 по 11-й: сафари (на 6 дней в лоджах и люксовых кемпингах)
день 11: заканчивается сафари. Дневной перелёт на Занзибар.
день с 11 по 15-й: зависание на Занзибаре.
день 15: дневной перелёт в Найроби, поход в ресторан, переезд а аэропорт.
