September 13- Goroka cultural show – 10 Days/9 nights Tour program
Day 1-10th TUE Sept 13 -Meals-BLD
Upon arrival in Port Moresby meet and assist for your domestic flight Port Moresby/Mt. Hagen. After lunch tour of Mt. Hagen and the surrounds includes the local town market local schools and the Avi orchid garden. In the afternoon return and overnight at Hotel.
Day 2- 11th WED Sept 13- Meals- BLD
After breakfast tour of the Waghi valley visiting the local tea and the coffee plantations and the Pogla village for the village study with traditional fire making, flute, stone axe, bows and arrows and making garden etc. After the dances return and overnight at the hotel.
Day 3- 12th Thursday 13- Meals- BLD
After breakfast depart Mt. Hagen for the Eastern Highlands Province to see the Goroka cultural show passing through Jiwaka and the Simbu Provinces.
Stop at Mindima village to see the Skeleton / Masalai play and then stop at Kundiawa for the lunch and then after lunch continue your to the Eastern Higlands. Upon arrival at Daulo pass stop briefly for a panoramic view of the Asaro valley. As you descend Daulo pass you stop at Komunive village for the eerie mud man performance and the mud man mas modeling. After the performance continue to Goroka and visit the JK McCarthy museum, Goroka coffee and the University of Goroka. Overnight at GK Lodge
Day 4-13th Friday September 13- Meals- BLD
A yearly event in Papua New Guinea, the Goroka Cultural Show is one of the best shows in Papua New Guinea to see some of the amazing traditional dances and tribal attire from over 40 different tribal groups. An early morning wake-up call gets us to the show ground to see the preparations before the formal show begins. We see the performers preparing their traditional clothing and body decorations and practicing for their dances. We spend the day at the Goroka Arena taking in the “sing sing” performances. Overnight in Hotel
Day 5- 14th SAT Sept 13 - Meals- BLD

After breakfast transfer to the Goroka Cultural Show ground to chat with the dancers and to take photographs. Goroka show is one of the best shows in Papua New Guinea to see some of the amazing traditional dances and tribal attire from over 40 different tribal groups. An early morning wake-up call gets us to the show ground to see the preparations before the formal show begins. We see the performers preparing their traditional clothing and body decorations and practicing for their “dances. We spend half of the day at the Goroka cultural show arena taking in the “sing sing” performances and the closing ceremony. After the show you will be driven to Madang, you will stop at Ramu Sugar for rest and then continue to Madang Province. On your way stop at Balek Wild life to see eel and turtles. Overnight at Jais Aben Resort.
Day 7 – 16th MON Sept 13- Meals-BLD
After breakfast you visit the local market, Kalibobo light house, Haus Tumbuna, and a visit to Hobe village for a traditional dance and demonstration of daily lives and then return for lunch and then after lunch transfer hotel to the airport for your PX flight MAG/Wewak. Overnight at Inwewak Boutique hotel.
Day 8- 17th Tuesday Sept 13 - Meals- BLD
After breakfast you be transferred to the Sepik via Pagwi. Upon arrival at Pagwi waterfront you will be transferred to wooden motorized canoe to Kanganamun village. Upon arrival you will be welcomed with a traditional dance at Kanganamun village.
Day 9- 18th Wed Sept 13 – Meals-BLD
After breakfast you will then visit the middle Sepik river villages includes Palimbe village with the 2x spirit houses. After lunch you will be transferred back to Wewak. Overnight at Inwewak Boutique hotel.
Day 10- 19th Thursday 13 -Meals- B
After breakfast transfer hotel to the airport for your PX flight Wewak/POM and then connect with your international departing flight to be nominated from your end.
