Езжу заграницу по украинскому заграну.
Итак, выкладываю переписку с посольством Японии. Они подтвердили, что виза на круизные лайнеры, в том числе и Royal Carribian не нужна.
Hello, as I understand it, there is a law No visa is necessary as long as the following conditions are fulfilled.
1. The guest is coming to Japan with the designated ship and leaving from Japan with the same ship.
2. The guest is not allowed to travel in Japan separately from ship.
(In the below itinerary, the guest must travel with the same ship.
Not by other ships, airplane, etc.)
3. The guest is not allowed to make final disembarkation from the ship
to go home or stay in Japan. (If emergency case, to be discussed.)

I bought tickets for the cruise Royal Carribian "Mariner of the Seas".
I understand that I do not need a visa?

As for your cruise plan “Cruise summary” and “Travel summary” which you sent us in previous e-mail, the cruise ship “Mariner of the Seas” is designated by the Minister of Justice, and in this case (cruise plan) as of today, you don’t need to obtain a visa.
