Depart Kochi by motor coach for Alappuzha (previously called Alleppey). Enroute a brief comfort stop. Alappuzha is nestled in the midst of a thick tangle of lush tropical waterways, and it is here that you will board a boat for an idyllic trip through the majestic forests and palm-shaded backwaters of the city and surroundings. In the comfort of your boat glide along shimmering waterways lined with dense tropical vegetation, and observe rural Keralan lifestyles that you would never see from the road.
