Admission and Transit Restrictions:
- The Government of Qatar does not accept temporary passports.
TWOV (Transit Without Visa):
Visa required, except for Those continuing within 8 hours to a
third country by the same or first connecting aircraft,
provided:
- holding tickets with reserved seats; and
- all documents required for their onward journey.
Passengers may not leave the transit lounge.
- If transit time exceeds 8 hours and passenger wants to leave
the airport, a prearranged STPC (24 hour) visa issued by the
airline is required, which will be subject to immigration
approval.
Additional Information:
- Passengers must hold return/onward tickets (except for
holders of 10 years' multiple entry visas), all documents
required for their next destination and sufficient funds to
cover their stay.
- If holding tourist visa, visitor must also hold proof of
confirmed hotel reservation and at least USD 1,400.- or any
major credit card.
Warning:
- Passengers travelling on an expired visa or forged documents
will be deported to the country of origin. The carrier will
be fined QAR 10,000.-.
Qatar (QA)
No vaccinations are required to enter Qatar from any country:

Passport required.
- Passport and/or passport replacing travel documents must be
valid at least six months on date of arrival.
Visa required, except for A max. stay of 1 month to nationals
of Uzbekistan.
Minors:
- Minors up to and including 15 years of age may be listed in
an accompanying adult's passport.

Warning:

transporting carrier's expense.
- Passengers not complying with the entry regulations may be
deported to their country of origin at the transporting
carrier's expense.
Malaysia (MY)
Yellow Fever Vaccination required, if arriving within 6 days
after leaving or transiting countries with infected areas or
countries with endemic areas.
Exempt from Yellow Fever vaccination:
- Children under 1 year.
- Transit passengers not leaving the airport.
- For those not leaving the airport in the countries
concerned.
Warning:
- If arriving without a valid yellow fever vaccination
certificate, passengers will be held in quarantine for a
period of 6 days at port of entry.
Recommended:
- Malaria prophylaxis. Malaria risk exists only in limited
foci in the deep hinterland. Urban and coastal areas are
free from malaria. P. falciparum throughout the year. P.
falciparum resistant to chloroquine and
sulfadoxine/pyrimethamine reported. Recommended prevention
in risk areas: IV
