The FIFA Ticketing Centre has already tried to take payment for the Tickets you were awarded (and delivery if applicable) from the Payment Card you used when submitting the Application. Unfortunately, this charging attempt was unsuccessful.
What do I need to do?
We will be attempting to charge your Payment Card again within the next 5 working days and therefore we strongly recommend you notify your bank of the possible transaction and ensure that sufficient funds are available to cover the full payment amount required for the Tickets allocated. Failure to receive payment in full for any Tickets allocated during the Random Selection Draw will result in your Application being cancelled in accordance with Section 9.4 of the Sales Regulations:
9.4 FULL AND TIMELY PAYMENT OF ALL TICKETS AND THE DELIVERY FEE (IF APPLICABLE) IS OF ESSENCE AND A MATERIAL OBLIGATION OF THE TICKET APPLICANT. If FIFA only receives partial payment from the Ticket Applicant, or the payment is not received on time, the Ticket Application may be rejected by FIFA in its entirety. Any acceptance by FIFA is based on the assumption that payment was received in a timely and full manner. In the event that, subsequent to FIFA’s partial or full acceptance of the Ticket Applicant’s offer, FIFA detects partial or delayed payment, such acceptance shall not be deemed or construed as FIFA’s acceptance of such violation of these Ticket Sales Regulations and FIFA shall, fully or partially, cancel the allocated Tickets and terminate the Ticket Sales Agreement, pursuant to the GTCs and these Ticket Sales Regulations.
It may also be useful to provide your bank with the following details which will be indicated during the charging attempt:
- Merchant-Name, Location: FIFA World Cup Ticketing, Zürich
- Merchant-ID (MID): 172594187 or 172594170
- Acquirer-BIN: For VISA Payments: 459572
- Acquirer-BIN: For MasterCard Payments: 545952
Following the charging attempt during the next 5 working days, the FTC will not make any subsequent charging attempts and is not able to confirm the exact date, time or amount of the transaction.
We are also not able to change the details of the Payment Card used to submit the Application.
Please note that unpaid Tickets will be cancelled and made available for sale to other customers. Please note you may have been successful, or only partially successful with your Ticket Application and therefore you must check the details of your Ticket Application carefully when logging into your FIFA Ticketing Account.
